All paper submissions must be received in PDF format via this web site on or before 15 April 2021 (Extended to 10 May 2021). This is a firm deadline. Papers will not be accepted after this date. Only electronic submissions in PDF format will be accepted. Please consult this web page for the latest instructions, templates, and format examples. Please do not include page numbers on submitted documents. All papers must be written in clear, idiomatic English. Please note that a paper may be excluded from distribution after the conference (e.g., removal from the proceedings submitted to IEEE Xplore) if the paper is not presented at the conference. Paper Submission Guides

For an accepted paper to be listed in the technical program, one of the authors of the paper must be registered by 1 June 2021. In the event that this is not possible due to funding or visa issues, another registered attendee must be identified to serve as presenter prior to 1 June 2021.

The language of the symposium is English. The text should be formatted single-spaced and sized for 215.9 x 279.4 mm (8.5 x 11 inch) paper. The title should be horizontally centered 19 mm (0.75 inch) from the top of the first page. The author's (or authors') name and complete organizational affiliation should be two lines below the title. If there are multiple authors, the presenter is to be specified with an asterisk superscript at the end of the name. The text should start three lines below the last name. Paragraphs are to be separated with one blank line, and a minimum font size of 10 points is recommended to maintain readability. Submissions must withstand a linear reduction to 70% of original size and maintain readability. Please do not include page numbers on submitted documents. Only designated contact-authors will receive an (automated) acknowledgement of the submission.

A signed (electronically) IEEE copyright form (eCF) must accompany all submissions. Papers submitted without copyright forms will be rejected. Instructions for electronically signing and submitting copyright forms can be found below.

Please note that the conference reserves the right to exclude a paper from distribution after the conference (e.g., removal from the proceedings submitted to IEEE Xplore) if the paper is not presented at the conference.


  • Must be 4 PAGES [More Pages maybe allowed (Max. 4-Extra Pages) with extra fees] in length, including text, references, and figures.
  • Must be in IEEE 2-column format A4.
  • The introduction of the paper should clearly indicate the unique aspects of the submission and how it relates to previous work.
  • Clearance is the authors’ responsibility to obtain all required company and government clearances prior to submitting a paper. Authors are strongly urged not to wait until the last day to start the paper submission process. Those unfamiliar with the process may encounter paper formatting or clearance issues that may take time to resolve. A statement certified by the submitting author that such clearances have been obtained and a completed IEEE copyright form must accompany the manuscript of each accepted paper. Details regarding clearances will be available during the paper submission process.

Steps for Submission

  1. Create your manuscript.
  2. Proofread and check layout of manuscript. Ensure that your figures are correctly labeled and that any required sponsor acknowledgement is included.
  3. Create a PDF version of your manuscript. There are numerous utilities and operating systems for free PDF creation.
  4. The ITC-Egypt'2021 conference employs a plagiarism detection system. By submitting your paper to this conference, you ACCEPT that your paper maybe screened for plagiarism against previously published work.

After the notification of acceptance date, uploading your Final / Revised paper, and you will be need signed the IEEE Electronic Copyright system (eCF) (, which will walk you through electronically signing the appropriate IEEE copyright form.

  1. A computer-generated E-mail is immediately sent to the designated contact authors to provide feedback on a successful submission.
  2. Papers that are not presented at the conference (no-show papers) will be excluded from distribution on IEEE Xplore.

Presentation Format

All accepted post-deadline papers will be presented as either full-length (20 minute) or poster papers, depending on session availability, to report the significance of contributions, advancements, or applications in a formal presentation format with time for questions and answers (Q&A). All Authors must provide a PDF version of the presentation material for registered attendees to download during and after the conference.

Paper Selection Criteria

Papers are Blind reviewed by ITC-Egypt’2021 Technical Program Review Committee members. The selection criteria will be:

  • Originality: Is the contribution unique and significant? Does it advance the state of the art of the technology and / or practices? Are proper references to previous work by the authors and others provided?
  • Quantitative content: Does the paper give a comprehensive description of the work with adequate supporting data?
  • Clarity: Is the paper contribution and technical content presented with clarity? Are the writing and accompanying figures clear and understandable?
  • Interest to attendees: Why should this work be reported at this conference?
  • Breakthrough Demonstration: Does the paper present high-impact experimental results.
  • References: Is the paper has recent and related references?

The Conference Awards

The chair committee will announce the first, second, and third prizes place winners at the conference awards ceremony. A monetary award and a certificate will be given to each place winners. The monetary awards are:

  • First prize place (6000 EGP)
  • Second prize place (4000 EGP)
  • Third prize place (3000 EGP)
